The Higher Committee for New Students' Registration continued to monitor the progress of the registration process for new students nominated for admission for the academic year 2021-2022.
The Higher Committee is headed by Prof Awad Saad Hassan, vice chancellor of the University, and the membership of Prof Mahdi Abbas Saad Shakak, deputy vice chancellor of the University, Dr. Elfatih Ahmed Hassan, university principal, Dr. Yassin Hamdan, university deputy principal and Dr. Afra Hashem, Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs, Prof Caroline Edward Ayyad, Secretary of Scientific Affairs, Mr Galal Abdalrahman Mohammed Hammad, head of Private and Technology Admission Administration, Mr Suleiman Ahmed, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs. Accompanied by Dr. Huda Osman Abdallah, head of the Public Relations and Media Administration, the committee continued their tour today in the Central, Southern and Medical Campuses.
The tour included the faculties of music and drama, communication sciences, engineering, architecture and planning, petroleum and mining engineering, physical education and sports, medicine, pharmacy and dentistry.
In a statement after the tour, the vice chancellor explained his satisfaction as the registration process is going smoothly. In all the faculties that were visited today, the preparations were arranged and meticulous for all the parties responsible for the registration process, and he added that the university does everything in its power for the comfort and happiness of the students.
It is worthy to mention that a considerable number of students and parents expressed their happiness with the smooth and simple flow of registration procedures that brought joy to their hearts.
