Winning Teams to Represent SUST

Under the auspices and supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the activities of the Hult Prize competition for Sudan University of Science and Technology were concluded today, where the event took place in the ministry of higher education and scientific research. The students presented distinguished projects that won the admiration of the audience, and the best project was announced to compete in the name of Sudan university with Sudanese universities.

The Hult Prize is an annual competition that brings together ideas throughout the year from university students from 121 countries who are challenged to solve a pressing issue facing the world such as food security, access to water, energy, and education. The Hult Prize was established and is funded by the Hult Family - the founders of EF Education First - donating $1 million in seed capital to help the winning team launch a community project.

Teams were formed to compete in the 2022 season from various colleges of Sudan University of Science and Technology. After the competitions, three teams were chosen today in the Higher Education Hall to compete with Sudanese universities until the final with a team representing Sudan in the competition. This was sponsored and supervised by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the students were given certificates of appreciation. The winning teams also honored the Deanship of Student Affairs, in the presence of Mr. Abdallah Mohammad Salih, representing the Deanship. All wishes for the university to reach the finals and to represent Sudan in the award.
