The Council of Deans of Sudan University of Science and Technology held an emergency meeting on Tuesday morning, 9th of November 2021, regarding the position of studies and exams in light of the current situation in the country.

  • The Council of Deans condemns the military coup, demanding the release of all detainees and a return to both civilian rule and democratic path. The Council also paid respect for the souls of all Martyrs and called for a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured.
  • The council praises all staff members of Sudan University of Science and Technology, including academic staff, technicians, students, security and safety personnel, and the university's security police for their great role in securing and stabilizing the university.

The council decided:

Suspension of studies and postponement of exams until further notice in order to preserve the safety of students and the university family.
