The Vice Chancellor of the University directed the deans, professors and librarians to visit the exhibition and choose the appropriate books for their courses and determine the quantities they need, which will be a preparation for the Sudanese Universities Courses Forum, especially since the university is an incubator for the book fair from which all Sudanese universities will be supplied. He hoped to make the most of the modern and diverse editions in supporting the educational process.
Ms. Rehab Khalifa, Dean of Library Affairs, stated that the university has had an abundant legacy in holding exhibitions since 2004. She said that the exhibition came at the invitation of the House of Academic Science, Publishing and Distribution of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which has been providing the university since 2016 with all that is new and updated in terms of books and references in all disciplines. Especially that not supplying the library annually creates a gap in accreditation, which negatively affects knowledge recipients. She also added that the deanship is in the process of increasing the capacity of electronic libraries. She announced the opening of a new building for the central library, to which an electronic library is attached.
