His Excellency, Mohamad Osman Al-Khalifa, President of the Sudanese Gymnastics Federation, former Director of Sports at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Khartoum State, appreciated the great roles played by the College of Physical Education and Sports at Sudan University of Science and Technology(SUST) in various aspects of life, especially sports, and its provision to the sports community with many active cadres, especially pioneering women, affiliates and graduates with distinguished capabilities and scientific qualification.
This came during his communicative visit to the college, where he was received by Prof. Ahmed Adam, Dean of the College, and a number of professors, staff members, athletes and students.
His Excellency expressed his admiration for the academic and scientific curricula, the capabilities of the college, and the science and research it offers that contribute to the promotion and development of sports.
Furthermore, His Excellency referred to many names that played prominent roles in the sports map in Sudan and the regional and global surroundings. publishers of activities and directors of relevant institutions, for example he mentioned the late Prof. Hassan Al-Masry, Dr. Hassan Abu Jabal, Dr. Makki Fadl Al-Mawli, Dr. Al-Sir Muhammad Ali, the arbitration expert, captain Montaser Al-Zaki and others, praising Prof. Ahmed Adam, Dean of the College, for his good management skills and saluting the first generation of highly qualified people who successively held the helm of the College of Physical Education and Sports.
