A meeting for the deans of students affairs was held today, Tuesday, September 6, in the premises of Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST), at the Deanship of Student Affairs, chaired by Dr. Abdalsalam Kamel Abdalsalam, the dean of students affairs at SUST.
The meeting included the deans of students affairs in governmental universities to discuss negative phenomena in universities and extracurricular activities programs to combat such negative phenomena and raise awareness among students, which is noticed recently in the spread of some bad habits, drug abuse and inappropriate behavior among students.
Reflections were also made on the program established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on extra-curricular programs and various competitions, including student innovations, sports activities, scientific research, innovations, and others between local universities and national competitions, which will be held during the coming period.
