Professor Eisa Bashier Mohamed Eltayeb, vice chancellor of Sudan University of Science and Technology, inaugurated the distribution of Ramadan baskets to the university’s employees, accompanied by Prof. Abdul-Azim Suleiman Al-Mahal, the deputy vice chancellor of the University, Dr. Elfatih Ahmed Hassan, principal of the university, Dr. Yassin Hamdan, principal of the university.
His Excellency stated that this work falls within the framework of easing the burdens of living on workers in light of the current economic situation. He commented that the project has become a paid job that the university used to carry out annually. He also revealed that the basket contained the important and necessary commodities that the individual needs during the holy month of Ramadan, such as sugar, flour and other commodities.
Finally, his Excellency expressed his confidence in distributing the baskets through all the university campus sites, promising that the cost of the basket will be deducted in a 12-month repayment plan.
