It is with great sadness and sorrow, we inform you of the passing of Professor Hassan Mohamed Zain, founder of the College of Communication Sciences, who passed away today the 24th of October 2021.
Prof. Zain was a well-known media figure, who was a role model and iconic figure for both academic staff and students. He was known for his asceticism and humility, which translates into the humility of scholars. With his passing, Sudan University and the college lost one of the pillars of its venerable scholars.
Prof. Awad Saad Hassan, the vice chancellor of Sudan University of Science and Technology, the Dean and staff of the College of Communication Sciences, would like to extend their sincere heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family of Prof. Zain.
May Allah accept him with his immense mercifulness and grant him the highest rank in paradise. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.
