Members of the University Senate Sub-Committees Honored by Secretariat of Scientific Affairs

The Secretariat of Scientific Affairs at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) organized an honoring ceremony for the heads and deputies of the committees, members and secretariats of the university senate sub committees, in the presence of Prof. Eisa Bashier Mohamad, Vice Chancellor of Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST), Prof. Abdel-Azim Suleiman Al-Mahal, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Awadalla Tayfor Ali Ismail, Principal of the university and Prof. Caroline Edward Ayad Amin, the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs, the deans of the various faculties, the heads and members of the various scientific, academic and technical committees, and all the honorees.

Prof. Eisa highly appreciated the effort of the members in the various committees and the employees of scientific affairs. He said, “The committees are the sieve that filters and assures quality and prestigious outcomes, and thus the university has leadership in many advanced programs. The committees members are knowledgeable and experienced that can be used in various work within and outside the university".

He also pointed out that the work of the committees precedes all work and paves the way and conditions for achievements. It also contributes to the promotion and development of performance with scientific and international specifications. He said, "Keeping up, pioneering, and excelling is our first and nominal goal, and we seek the university's elevation and ascension at various levels. He who does not thank people does not thank God."

His Excellency also expressed his full satisfaction and appreciation for theie cooperation and effort, which was reflected in the arrangement, preparation and organization of all academic processes that prepared the university environment for the student to be unique and achieve impressive and distinguished results.

Prof. Caroline Ayad expressed her happiness with the honoring ceremony and the staff members of the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs and their effective communication with all university employees. "We stand today in front of a lofty mountain of giving and achievements and the honorees worked and succeeded and they have our praise and appreciation", she added, showing that the university is fortunate with these innovators, each in his field. Therefore, it is not surprising that SUST exceeded the berths and outperformed the similar ones from the universities.

Prof. Caroline also explained that the honored members of the committees worked in harsh conditions and defied the odds. With their determination, all work was crowned with success, and with them the university became at the forefront and received the highest grades.. She said, "They deserve honor and are worthy of it".

At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation and commemorative shields were distributed, as the honoring included the Academic Affairs Committee, the Central Examinations Committee, the Admission and Registration Committee, the Central Training Committee, with all deputies, secretaries, and memberships of those committees and the cadres assisting them.

The Scientific Affairs Secretariat also honored the vice chancellor of the University, Prof. Eisa Bashier for his care, follow-up, interest, and supervision of the work of the secretariat. In a brilliant gesture, the family of the secretariat of scientific affairs honored Professor Caroline Edward Ali for her modesty and great giving and achievements in the previous period.
