An Insight into Electronic Registration of Private and BTech Admission | Secretariat of Scientific Affairs

Prof. Abdelazim Suleiman Al-Mahal, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST), addressed the meeting of the members of the interviews committee for newly accepted candidates to the bachelor’s level (private, BTech (public and private) admission). He urged the membership of the committee on the need for flexible and elegant dealing with students and parents, which reflects the prestigious status of the university.

His Excellency also assured the importance of speedy completion of transactions and taking into account the time factor for the convenience of service recipients and highlighting the cultural aspect and processions, especially since all registration procedures will be electronic, as well as taking care of the general appearance, noting that the university fees are the lowest compared to other universities.

Prof. Awadalla Tayfor Ali Ismail, Principal of the University, praised the great efforts made by the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs in the preparations to complete the registration process in a manner befitting the status and uniqueness of the university. Technical and logistical aids that help complete the electronic steps of the registration process.

Prof Tayfor said, "All technical and logistical aids that help complete the electronic steps of the registration process have been provided". Furthermore, he promised to continue the unremitting efforts to upgrade and develop all services to reach global ranks.

Dr. Afraa Hashm Aballtef Mohamed, Deputy Secretary of Scientific Affairs, welcomed the attendees and described the registration process as representing the first threshold and the basic step for the student to enter the university, and called for the need to reflect the bright face of the university through conducting the inspection, registration and student guidance.

Mr. Jalal AbdalRahman Mohammad, Director of the Center for Private and BTech Admission, reviewed the procedures for registering private admission, BTech children of employees and foreigners.

He stressed the need for the student’s guardian to attend for the purpose of undertaking to pay the fees, as the interview procedures are not completed without his consent. He also noted that there is no postponement of the interviews due to the planned start of the study in January 2023. He added that the completion of the registration process electronically in all its stages aims to keep pace with technology.

Dr. Mohamad Osman Al-Fahal, Assistant of Secretary of Scientific Affairs for Computing, explained the steps of electronic registration. He said: “The university’s technicians are happy to implement the electronic registration process". He explained that with hard work, strong will, and determination, the impossible is made and the application of the mixed participatory system aims to distribute tasks in the registration process.

The attendees from the interview committees interacted with questions and inquiries and emphasized their keenness for the smooth flow of the electronic registration process to find acceptance and satisfaction from the students and their families.
