With hearts filled with deep sadness and sorrow, we inform you of the shocking news, of the tragic passing of Abdallah Abbas Taha Hamid, the first year student in the college of technology, Petroleum Engineering (Exploration), whose soul rose to its creator on Friday evening, December 31, 2021, as a result of his injuries during participating in the 30th of December pro-democracy protesters rally in Khartoum.
Prof Awad Saad Hassan, the vice chancellor of the university, the administration of the college of technology and all of the university staff members would like to extend their heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Abdallah's family.
