The university administration extends its warm congratulations to all staff of the university. The university ranks first among Sudanese universities in May 2021 edition of Webometrics rankings of digital repositories and moves to advanced positions at the global level, where it ranked 190 out of 4,403 institutional repositories and ranked 205 out of 4,579 repositories globally.
It is worthy to mention that Webometrics ranking of repositories depends on criteria such as the volume and quality of open research and academic content published through the websites of universities and electronic institutions, the presence of electronic archiving of the institution on the internet, and the volume and quantity of written and listed documents in the English language.
Furthermore, Sudan University of Science and Technology has been listed in the eighteenth QS World University Rankings 2022, which is an annual classification of universities around the world, that assesses the level of education provided by ranked universities, the quality of its basic and applied research, the capabilities of its graduates at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and its position among international universities.
