The students of the College of Medicine at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) conducted their first medical convoy heading to the White Nile State, targeting the localities of Al-Salam and Qali.
The student, Elaf Khaled, the media officer of the convoy, stated that it includes clinics, a pharmacy, and mobile laboratories, in addition to holding health awareness and education lectures. She said, "The convoy started its work amid the presence and great interaction of the people and residents of the concerned areas".
She also mentioned that the educational aspect included raising awareness of the dangers of poor maternal health, breast cancer, female circumcision, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis and other diseases related to family health.
It is worth noting that the convoy activity continues until the 15th of February.
