It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Altijani Satti Almahdi, the former associate professor with the College of Forestry and Range Science, who passed away on Friday, Dec 31, 2021.
The deceased was from the first generation of forestry scientists in Sudan, and one of the founders of the college of Forestry and Range Science in SUST. He participated through all the college establishment periods since it was the Forestry School, then the Institute of Colleges of Technology, then currently the College of Forestry and Range Sciences. Furthermore, most of the constructions that contributed to the renaissance and advancement of the College of Forest and Range Sciences began during his management period.
May Allah, the Almighty, award him mercy, forgiveness and the highest ranks in heavens for what he offered during his life's journey, and to inspire his family patience and solace.
