Prof Mahdi Abbas Shakak, deputy vice chancellor of the university, addressed the honoring ceremony organized by the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs for professors who were awarded by the University the rank of Emeritus Professor, Prof Saad Yousif Obaid, College of Music and Drama, and Prof Saif Eldin Alamin, College of Agricultural Studies, and Prof Shawqi Hassan Abdullah, College of Science.

Prof Caroline Edward Ayad, Secretary of Scientific Affairs, expressed her happiness to the audience, explaining that honoring of the employees, the Academic Affairs Committee and the Central Examination Committee for their great efforts and great achievement in record time in the last meeting of the Senate Council, and added that the honor is given to the rest of the secretariat’s employees and workers in recognition of their outstanding performance.
