Prof Awad Saad Hassan, the university vice chancellor, happily announced the participation of the university in the Khartoum International Book Fair, in its fifteenth annual session, which took place at the Fairs’ Grounds in Burri under the auspices of Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, prime minister of Sudan.
The university participated with 77 publications. Also, Prof Awad revealed the university’s endeavor to cooperate with industrial parties and provide high quality scientific research to contribute in the development of the industrial sector.
Prof Awad also revealed that all the publications were printed at the university's press and confirmed the arrival of a special printing press for the College of Fine and Applied Arts. Furthermore, he revealed the efforts of research staff to develop top quality scientific research and considered it one of the priorities for the next phase to raise the university’s level to be among the other globally leading universities, especially since the university is distinguished by the presence of distinguished researchers in various fields.
