Sudan Center for Self-Employment at SUST Meets with the Federal Graduate Employment Authority

The Sudan Center for Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) held a reflective meeting with the Federal Graduate Employment Authority in order to activate previous protocols of understanding with the university on entrepreneurship projects.

This was in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Al-Jak, Director of Sudan Center for Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Muzir Babiker, Director of the Entrepreneurship Department at the university, Dr. Sharaf El-Din Al-Awad, Executive Director of Khartoum State, Ms. Sawsan Al-Shafei, Federal Projects Director, Mr. Ahmed Khaled Mohamed, Director of the Federal Training Center, and rs. Ibtihal Mohamed Abdullah, Director of Partnerships and foreign relations.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Jack expressed his happiness at the meeting and said, “The smart partnership with the Agency aims to develop joint work and coordination within the framework of practical application, cooperation in the field of training, establishing existing projects for implementation related to graduate employment issues, adopting production agreements, and activating protocols to support and develop youth and graduate entrepreneurship projects.” He also stressed the university administration's interest in presenting and implementing such projects in the near future.

Dr. Sharaf El-Din Al-Awad valued the great roles played by the university in upgrading, raising capabilities, developing scientific programs and qualifying cadres.

“We always work with various sectors of society, especially universities and scientific and research centers to develop visions and ideas about production concepts and youth projects and benefit from national development resources to create financial security and raise value of additional income", he added.

Sharaf Al-Din also revealed a memorandum of understanding that will be signed with the university in the field of training and exploiting the university's capabilities in providing job opportunities for youth and entrepreneurship.
