The Human Resources Department at Sudan University and Technology announces the university’s desire to appoint Sudanese faculty members to fill the following positions:
Department of Biomedical Sciences
Biochemistry
Assistant or Associate Professor in Biochemistry
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences, and must have a master’s and doctorate degrees in the relevant specialization from any recognized university
Lecturer in Biochemistry
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences, and should have a master’s degree in the relevant specialization from any recognized university
Physiology
Assistant Professor in Physiology
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences, and must have a master’s and doctorate degrees in the relevant specialization from any recognized university
Lecturer or Teaching Assistant in Physiology
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences or in the case of a lecturer, and should have a master’s degree in the relevant specialization from Sudan University of Science and Technology or from any recognized university.
Anatomy
Assistant or Associate Professor in Macroscopic Anatomy
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine and must have a master’s and doctorate degrees in macroscopic anatomy from any recognized university
Lecturer in Macroscopic Anatomy
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences and should have a master’s degree in the relevant specialization from Sudan University of Science and Technology or from any recognized university.
Teaching Assistant in Macroscopic Anatomy
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with honors first class or second class / first division as a minimum in veterinary medicine / veterinary sciences from Sudan University of Science and Technology or from any recognized university.
Academic Requirements Guidelines
Associate Professor
The same conditions as the assistant professor in addition to the following.
- The applicant should has spent more than three years in the position of assistant professor and has published at least ten original and distinguished research papers in refereed journals,
- or to have spent more than five years at the rank of assistant professor and to have published at least six written or translated research or methodological books
- and must have made good and effective contributions to teaching and to the development of a department or college,
- and must have contributions in committees, management and professional work
- and must have a role in supervising graduate students, designing and developing curricula.
Assistant Professor
- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Sudan University of Science and Technology or any recognized university with first or second honors/first division as a minimum in the relevant specialization,
- in addition to obtaining a master’s and doctorate degree in the same specialization, preferably those with previous experience in university teaching
Lecturer
- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Sudan University of Science and Technology or any recognized university with honors first class or second class/first division as a minimum in the relevant specialization,
- plus a master’s degree in the same specialty.
Teaching Assistant
- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Sudan University of Science and Technology or any recognized university in the relevant discipline with honors first class or second class/first division as a minimum.
Technical Assistant
- Obtaining a minimum of a three-year diploma from Sudan University of Science and Technology or any recognized university in the specified field.
General Conditions for Applying

- Copies of educational certificates (certificate of completion + certificate of details).
- Work experience details.
- Pictures of certificates:
a. birth.
B. National ID or national number.
c. Sudanese certificate.
Note that these photos are not received after filling out the application form prepared for this by the Human Resources Department, in the university headquarters, in Al-Mugran, west of Khartoum Stadium.
- The applicant must have either performed the national service or been exempted from it (a copy of the vacancy of one party from the national service and the magnetic card shall be attached).
- State employees must submit their requests through the heads of their units, while their party is vacant.
- The age of the applicant for the post of teaching assistants should not exceed thirty years.
- The last date for receiving applications is one month from the date of publishing the advertisement in the newspapers.
