DLCC SUPPORTS A MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM IN DESERT LOCUST CONTROL
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Awad Saad Hassan, chaired a meeting with the representative of the Technical Commission for Desert Locust Control (DLCC) in the Central Region at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The meeting discussed the arrangement for establishing a master degree program in controlling the Desert Locust at Sudan University of Science and Technology. However, the program will be one of its type in the region.
The DLCC has agreed to provide all the equipment of the program and to offer ten full scholarships, four of them for the Sudanese and the others for the international students.
