Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) concluded at its headquarter a training course on strategic planning and national development, which organized by the Department of Strategic Planning from 25 to 29 November 2018. However, the ceremony was attended by the vice chancellor, Dr. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Hussein, the Director of Strategic Planning, Dr. Hadia Mubarak Al-Sheikh Al-Majzoub, Director of the Institute of Research and Strategic Studies at Omdurman Islamic University, Dr. Manal Elias Al-Khader and a number of professors.
Prof. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Hussein expressed his happiness with the training course, saying that (planning should be considered and preceded by stages of preparation and qualifying in order to reach excellent and tangible results at the time of implementation on the ground). He added that (Planning is the basis of every business and without it projects and missions become threatened with failure and delay). His Excellency called on the trainees to use and apply planning skills and knowledge that they have learned in delivering their educational message and improve their abilities and draw up a plan that contributes to the effectiveness of academic performance. He pointed out that the planning is a comprehensive concept for all sciences.
Dr. Hadia Mubarak praised the discipline and commitment of the trainees, and said that (the training course aims at raising the capacity of teachers to build a strategic thinking and participate in the national strategy 2030).
Dr. Manal Elias valued the smart partnership between SUST and the Institute of Strategic Research, saying: (We are pleased to cooperate with you to meet the needs and prerequisites of your employees in receiving the scientific skills and transfer experiences to confront crises and improve the work). She said that the training courses are a revival of memory and development of self and personality.
At the end of the program, the vice chancellor distributed the certificates to the trainees in the midst of happiness and interaction of the professor and all the attendees.
