The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rashid Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, chaired the third session of the SUST Senate for the year 2018. His Excellency briefed the Senate about the course of events in the past period, which is represented in signing of cooperation agreements with a number of Institutions and universities inside and outside Sudan and explained to the members of the Senate the electronic registration process through the Deanship of Admission and Registration, which is the first at the level of the Sudanese universities. He added that the examination process goes smoothly and efficiently, reflecting the effort exerted by all those involve in the process. Also, he notified the Senate about the new grade structure for the academic staff working at the institutions of higher education.
The Senate approved the results of the postgraduate examinations at the doctoral, master and postgraduate diploma levels, in addition to the results of the colleges examination in the bachelor and diploma levels. The Senate also approved a number of academic programs at the level of bachelor, post-graduate diploma, master and doctorate levels.
