SUST Students Win the title of Students Ambassadors to the Environment

The minister of state at Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development (MENRPD) honored the students Altayeb Mamoon Awadal Geed from the Environmental Engineering College and Ahmed Altayeb Ibrahim from the College of Forestry and Range Science for winning the second and third places respectively in the contest organized by UNESCO Chair in Women, Science and Technology in collaboration with MENRPD to celebrate World Environment Day for 2017 under slogan (I am with Nature). The winning students were entitled the Ambassadors of Students to the Environment. However, the event was hosted by SUST and widely attended by local NGOs and representatives from UNDP, Ministry of International Cooperation, the Supreme Council for Urban and Rural Development and diplomatic missions.
