UNESCO Chair in Women, Science and Technology at the University organized its first annual breakfast with a wide participation of women leaders, deans, university employees and various media institutions. During the breakfast Dr. Alshafa Abdul Qadir, director of the UNESCO Chair, honored Professor Fatima Abdal Mahmoud for her continued contribution to the progress of the nation and women.
Professor Maher Saleh Suleiman, deputy vice chancellor, confirmed that the university is interested in social and community service programs, noting that the UNESCO Chair breakfast hosted by the university this year is special for honoring Professor Fatima Abdal Mahmoud, the founder of the UNESCO Chair at the university, which provided much to the nation in all aspects of life.
Professor Fatima Abdal Mahmoud expressed thanks and appreciation to the family of the UNESCO Chair in Women, Science and Technology for honoring her and described it as a civilized feeling by the honorers.
