Graduating healthcare and nursing home students
Within the context of training the university staff, the Family and Community Training
Institute has organized a course in primary health care, nursing home targeting both female
and male workers. Dr. Hadiya Mubarak Sheikh Ed din, Dean of the Institute, addressed the
convocation pinpointing the importance of the course for the workers at the university
especially when rendering medical care to their students.
Mr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Director of training at the Sudanese Red Crescent Association
put emphasis on the association's role in providing services to humanity, and that the basic
goal of the course which was held at the university is to help trainees get the proper training
in rendering the desired care at the occurrence of an injury to sustain it from worsening until
it reaches the proficient specialist, calling for more training.
