Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST) Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Nile Center for Technology Research
In its tireless pursuit to expand its role as a vibrant force in the community, and to broaden its participation in community problem solving, Sudan University of Science & Technology signed a memorandum of agreement with Nile Center for Technology Research.
HE the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hashim Ali Salem signed the agreement on behalf of SUST, while the Director General of the Center, Eng. Alwalid Bashir Ahmed signed it on behalf of Nile Center for Technology Research.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering and a number of the College’s Staff.
Prof. Hashim stated that one of the prime objectives of SUST is to coalesce into the society with a greater social mission. In this connection he said “The main thrust of this agreement is to opens avenues for interaction and deeper cooperation with Nile Center for Technology Research in areas leading to acquisition of knowledge and expertise, benefit from the Center’s staff and build bridges to promote and strengthen bilateral ties through participation in joint research in technical areas, as well as to take advantage of the capabilities and facilities available to each party such as laboratories, workshops and the like, and to enable industrial sector to work with, and in close proximity with universities for the general welfare of our beloved country Sudan.”
