Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST) Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Aswan University
Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST), has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Aswan University in Egypt. HE the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hashim Ali Salim signed on behalf of SUST, while Professor Abbas Muhammad Mansour, the University President, signed on behalf of Aswan University.
The signing ceremony was attended by the deputy to the president of Aswan University and HE the Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Aswan, Dr. Ayman Zakaria, and on (SUST) side Prof. Dr. Gad Alla Al-Hasan, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Principal Dr. Rashid Ahmed, and Dr. Abdel Gadir Ahmed Osman, Dean of Students Affairs.
The two parties agreed to work towards establishing academic cooperation through reciprocal exchange of faculty, graduate students, in the form of offering training opportunities, conducting workshops and mutual supervision at graduate levels, making joint research in various fields, holding seminars and share of expertise and ideas.
“This newly elevated relationship provides our faculty and students with yet another vehicle to share educational best practices, expertise, and engage in collaborative research work towards SUST interests that are closely aligned with the interests of its peer University of Aswan,” said Prof Hashim.
The two sides stressed the importance of activating the agreement after signing.
